ASN 2024 in San Diego:

The annual Meeting of the American Society of Nephrology is really something to look forward to. This year kidney week takes place in in San Diego, CA (October 24–27, 2024). Prof. Catherine Meyer-Schwesinger will present our poster "Podocytic exopher genesis as a new pathomechanism in membranous nephropathy" and our colleague Helga Vitzthum, PhD (Institute of Cellular and Integrative Physiology) gives a talk about "Acid-Base Sensing by AE4" (October 26, 2024 | 02:30 PM - 03:00 PM | Room 6D, Convention Center). We look forward to many listeners.

Congress of Nephrology 2024:

We had a  very successful congress in Berlin with two poster presentations ("Podocytic exopher genesis as a new pathomechanism in membranous nephropathy" & "Loss of Lmp7 in renal endothelial cells alters cellular properties and IgG transport") and lively and fruitful discussions. Prof. Catherine Meyer-TheSchwesinger moderated two sessions (Innovative approaches - Imaging & poster session: Acute renal impairment/experimental nephrology 1).

We are happy about the exciting encounters with all the other congress participants.
